Congress supports IDPs' call to boycott Sangai Festival

IMPHAL, Nov 18 : Showing solidarity with the internally displaced persons, Congress has joined the boycott Sangai Festival call.
This decision of the State Congress was announced by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president MLA K Mghechandra at his official residence at Babupara today.
Answering to queries of media persons, Meghachandra said the Congress party understands the grievances of the internally displaced and is standing with them.
He said the Congress as a party supports the IDPs' call to boycott the Manipur Sangai Festival, scheduled to be held from November 21 to 30.
