IMPHAL, Nov 21 : Soibam Lingjelthoibi shone at the 69th National School Games (NSG) Archery for U-14 boys and girls hosted by Uttar Pradesh at Varanasi from November 19 to 21 as she claimed three out of the State’s 5 medals at the games.
S Lingjelthoibi won an individual bronze medal in the 30+30 m Indian Round competition before securing a gold medal in the mixed team competition alongside Yumnam Robinson.
She also went on to win a silver medal alongside Konjengbam Kebi Devi, Nepram Lanchenbi and Sanasam Lingjel in the girls’ Indian Round team competition .
In the Compound competition, Sagolshem Stelina Chanu and Nongthombam Pari bagged a bronze medal in the mixed team event.
The Compound team of Pari Nongthombam, Chitresh Hajarimayum, S Manithoiba and Thiyam Henthoiba also picked up another bronze medal for Manipur to cap the campaign on a high.
