IMPHAL, Nov 22 : As part of the World Heritage Week 2025 celebration, Manipur State Archaeology organised a ‘Mobile Exhibition’ at Pettigrew High School, Singjamei today.
The Manipur State Archaeology under the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Manipur, is celebrating the World Heritage Week 2025 from November 19 to 25, 2025, to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting cultural & historical heritage.
Today, the exhibition began with an awareness session on the protection & preservation of ‘our’ heritage.
A painting competition on the theme, “Historical Monuments/ Sites of Manipur/ India” was also conducted for students.
Winners of the competition in the order of merit are- L Silvia (Class V), Borish Sh (Class V), and Joyshree Th (Class VI).
The painting competition was followed by a quiz competition for students.
The event concluded with cultural dances & songs performed by school children.
Notably, the Mobile Exhibition will continue at Kangla Museum on November 23.
