Manipur amass 6 medals at 8th National Cadet Taekwondo C’ship

IMPHAL, Nov 22 : Manipur team have secured as many as 6 medals including 1 gold at the 8th National Cadet Taekwondo Championship being underway at PAP Indoor Stadium, Jalandhar in Punjab since yesterday.
Khumanthem Lanchenba bagged the only gold medal for Manipur so far as he produced a top notch performance in the boys’ 61 kg category Kyorugi competition.
Laishram Mangalsana (49 kg), Trevis Moirangthem (57 kg), and Abenao Takhellambam (59 kg) meanwhile suffered final defeats to settle for the silver medals.
Konjengbam Kangleinganba (45 kg) also won a bronze medal in the Kyorugi competition as Thounaojam Christina earned a bronze medal in the individual girls’ poomsae event.
