SFC, SSC stretch winning run in Kakching 2nd Divn Football

IMPHAL, Nov 22 : SFC, Sora and SSC, Langmeidong posted contrasting wins to stretch their winning run in the Second Division Football League Tournament 2025 being hosted by the District Sports Association at Kakching.
SFC sealed their fourth win on the trot in the 7-team competition today by handing JA, Kakching a 10-2 defeat.
Nawaz Pathan shone in the match (35+2’, 57’, 60’, 68’, 70’) contributing 5 goals alone as Ipham Nawaz Khan (8’, 43’) and Md Riyas Khan (52’, 65’) added two goals apiece and Makakmayum Farhan netted one (70+1’).
For JA, Ksh Bilson (20’) and Naorem Harish (63’) were on target.
Later in the day, Sapam Pritam (9’) and Th Leishemba (47’) scored to earn SSC a 2-1 win over MYC, Waikhong.
The consolation goal for MYC was scored by M Tonthang in the 71st minute.
