MNCA announces 15-member squad for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26

IMPHAL, Nov 22 : The Manipur Cricket Association has announced the 15-member squad and 5-member support staff for participation in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 Plate Group to be hosted by Maharashtra Cricket Association.
Konthoujam Bishworjit (C), Kangabam Priyojit (VC), Chingakham Bidash, Mandingbam Andyroshan, Khwairakpam Ulenyai (WK), Laishram Kiran, L Kishan Singha, Laiphangbam Sanatombam Roy, Lamabam Jotin, Meitankeishangbam Langlonyamba, Mohammad Mustaque, Ngariyanbam Johnson, Ningthoujam Thoiba, Nongthombam Denin and Pheiroijam Jotin are the players, who made it to the 15-member squad as per a notification issued by the association.
Coach Siddharth Trivedi, manager Tonjam Mohen are in the support staff that also include assistant coach Mujibur Rahman, S&C coach Purnendu Sekhar Jena and physiotherapist Thongam Kamlesh Singh.
The team will be leaving for Maharashtra tomorrow ahead of the opening tie clash with Arunachal Pradesh on November 26 at Deccan Gymkhana Cricket Ground, Pune.
Manipur will play Meghalaya in the second match on November 28 at MCA Cricket Stadium, Gahunje, Pune before playing Mizoram and Sikkim on November 20 and December 2 at the same venue. Manipur will close out their campaign against Nagaland on December 4 at Deccan Gymkhana Cricket Ground, Pune..
The top two teams after the round robin league will reach the final and fight it out for the Plate Group title on December 6.
