5th State Level Sarit Sarak C’ship 2025 Eastern Thang-Ta Organisation crowned overall team champions

IMPHAL, Nov 23 : Eastern Thang-Ta Organisation, Tangkham crowned overall team champions at the 5th State Level Sarit Sarak Championship 2025 hosted by Ima Panthoibi Huyen Langlon Thang-Ta and Cultural Association, Utlou under the supervision of the Sarit-Sarak Association Manipur at Utlou Lairam Leikai community hall.
Eastern Thang-Ta Organisation, Tangkham amassed 108 points off 15 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze medals to seal the top honour as hosts Ima Panthoibi Huyen Langlon Thang-Ta and Cultural Association, Utlou finished first runners up on 91 points off 14 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals and Yening Thang-Ta Academy, Samurou gathered 87 points off 12 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals to seal second runners up spot.
The championship saw participation of 104 boys and 78 girls from across 13 units in the sub-junior, junior, and senior  categories.
The valedictory function of the 2-day championship was attended by Thingbaijam Ibohanbi, technical chief advisor, Sarit-Sarak Federation of India; Laishram Lashamon, grandmaster Sarit-Sarak Federation of India among others as presidium members.
