5th Dr M Manaoton and M Chandrasakhi Memorial Masters’ Football Championship begins

IMPHAL, Nov 23 : EMVFC, Lamlai beat Sunday FC 2-0 as the 5th Dr M Manaoton and M Chandrasakhi Memorial Masters’ Football Championship kicked off today at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
As many as 12 teams clubbed into 3 groups are participating in the tournament organised by Sunday FC. The opening match of the tournament saw L Sova (30+2’) and Th Rohen (52’) finding the target for EMVFC to open their Group C campaign on a winning note.
VSAI, Thangmeiband will play VFC, Kakwa in the Group A opener tomorrow from 12.15 pm before LFC, Langthabal take on FLAM, Yaiskul in the Group B opener from 2 pm at the same venue.
