IMPHAL, Nov 24 : SFC, Sora beat YGC, Langmeidong 2-0 for the fifth win on the trot in the 2nd Division Football League 2025 being conducted by DSA Kakching.
SFC and YGC had a competitive start and entered into the break goalless before L Sohel scored late in the 79th minute to put SFC ahead.
Ipham Nawaz Khan then scored three minutes into the stoppage time (80+3’) to seal the 2-0 win and further cemented their position on top on 15 points.
Earlier in the day, Rustam (48’, 49’) scored twice to earn SESU, Kakching a 2-1 win over JA, Kakching.
Y Gopal (53’) scored the consolation goal for JA in the 53rd minute.
