Sangai FA, TRVSA post narrow wins in Masters’ Football Championship

IMPHAL, Nov 25 : Sangai FA and TRVSA, Malom secured slender wins in today’s matches of the ongoing 5th Dr Moirangthem Manaoton and M Chandrasakhi Devi Memorial Masters’ Football Championship hosted by Sunday FC at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
In the second Group C match of the tournament, Sangai FC rode on M Biken’s 23rd minute strike to seal a 1-0 win over UVSA, Chajing.
Later in the second Group A match of the tournament, TRVSA sealed a comeback 2-1 win over KLYGC, Kangmong.
Th Shyamkumar put KLYGC ahead after 29 minutes but Kh Rabichandra equalised it for TRVSA in the 35th minute before K Bobo converted a penalty in the 41st minute to earn the victory for TRVSA.
