Kakching 2nd Divn Football League SFC thrash SSC 3-0 for 6th win on trot, win league title

IMPHAL, Nov 26 : Sora Football Club (SFC) emerged the champions of the 2nd Division Football League organised by the DSA Kakching at its playground as they thrashed SSC, Langmeidong by 3-0 goals for the 6th win on the trot this afternoon.
L Sohen scored a brace in the second half (64’, 67’) to lead SFC to the 3-0 win today after Nawash Pathan found the lead early in the 35th minute.
Notably SFC had trounced MYC, Waikhong 9-1 in the opening match before drubbing SESU, Kakching 7-0; crushing PYC, Keirak 8-1; crushing JA, Kakching 5-0 and beating YGC, Langmeidong 2-0 in the following matches.
Earlier in the day, PYC sealed a 3-1 comeback win against JA.
JA opened the scoring through Yumnam Gopal in the 9th minute but K Manimatum scored the equaliser for PYC in the 29th minute before Henthoiba and M Bony scored in the 36th and the 54th minutes respectively to seal the 3-1 win.
