Book fair begins

KANGPOKPI, Nov27: A spiritually enriching Christian Book Fair, organized by Beautiful Books—the literature ministry of the Laymen's Evangelical Fellowship headquartered in Chennai—was inaugurated on Wednesday at Parazeau Maranatha Academy, Kangpokpi.
The event was formally opened by Rev Paolenlal Singson, Pastor of Chongthu Baptist Church Kangpokpi, who cut the inaugural ribbon in the presence of church leaders, school authorities, and enthusiastic visitors.
Beautiful Books, known for reaching regions where Christian literature is scarce, has brought a carefully curated collection of Bibles and faith-based books to Kangpokpi. The fair will continue until Saturday, the 29th of this month, after which the team will carry the ministry to other locations.
The exhibition showcases an extensive range of books tailored for all age groups and spiritual needs—children’s literature, youth resources, devotionals, discipleship materials, theology texts, marriage counseling books, pastors’ aids, commentaries, dictionaries, and an impressive assortment of Bibles. Various versions and translations, including major local-language Bibles, are also available.
