CRPF’s Civic Action Programme continues
IMPHAL, Nov 29 : As part of its continuous efforts to reinforce relations between the Force and the local population, B/ 34 Battalion & F/34 Battalion CRPF organised Civic Action Programmes at Ibotonsana Girls Higher Secondary School and Tamphasana Girls Higher Secondary School in Imphal West district today.
The programme, held under the aegis of Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRPF was led by Phrakyrwat Kharmujai, Commandant, 34 Battalion CRPF.
As per a release issued by CRPF, the programme was attended by Ravindra Singh Tomar, 2-i/C, 34 Battalion CRPF; Y Hemchandra Singh, Zonal Educational Officer, Imphal West; Mukesh Kumar, Assistant Commandant, 34 Battalion CRPF; Hijam Gitanjali Devi, Assistant Commandant, 34 Battalion CRPF; and other officers & jawans of the B/34 Battalion & F34 Battalion CRPF.
During the programme, 10 plastic chairs, 2 tables and 2 Computers were distributed to both Ibotonsana Girls Higher Secondary School and Tamphasana Girls Higher Secondary School.
At the event, Phrakyrwat Kharmujai emphasized that the CRPF not only plays a vital role in maintaining peace and security but also remains committed to the welfare and development of local communities.
Sangita Soram, Vice Principal of Ibotonsana Girls Higher Secondary School and other staff of the school were also present at the event.
