IMPHAL, Nov 2 : Salam Sanathoi won Bishnupur district a gold medal in the Elite Men’s 1 km individual time trial competition in the 4th State Level Governor’s Cup Road, Track, and Mountain Bike Cycling Championship.
In the event held at Cycle Velodrome, Khuman Lampak, Salam Sanathoi registered the best time of 00:01:19:438 (one minute, 19 seconds and 438 milliseconds) to win the gold medal as Konthoujam Bishan of Imphal West won the silver with a time of 00:01:21:202.
Imphal West’s Hijam Harish meanwhile settled for the bronze medal taking 00:01:22:291.
Imphal East’s Ngangkham Dayananda Meitei meanwhile won the Junior Men’s 1 km individual time trial gold as he clocked 00:01:14:943.
Imphal West’s Khoirom Belchrish meanwhile settled for the silver medal with a time of 00:01:15:405 as Lairenmayum Rishi Meitei of Imphal East claimed the bronze with a time of 00:01:18:556.
Youth Men’s 500 m individual time trial gold on the other hand went to Khumallabam Hermann of Imphal West who clocked the best time of 00:00:40:730 while compatriot Yumnam Malemnganba grabbed the silver in 00:00:41:206.
Lisham Dhanachandra of Imphal East settled for the bronze medal in this event taking 00:00:41:641.
