Learning Hindi useful: MP

Imposition of the Hindi language is unacceptable, but learning the language is useful, MP Leishemba Sanajaoba has said. The MP said this during the diamond jubilee celebration of the Manipur Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Imphal at the City Convention Centre, Palace Compound. Speaking at the event, Leishemba said Hindi was recognised as an official language on September 14, 1949. Like learning English is useful, learning the Hindi language is also very useful in communication and study, he said. Manipur Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Imphal president Dr Budha and many other eminent personalities attended the event.
