Addressing the function as chief guest, Additional Secretary (Home) cum Director of Institutional Finance Ahanthem Subhash lauded COMET for its remarkable contribution in producing medical aspirants year after year.
He particularly appreciated the teachers and management of COMET in guiding the students.

In his address, Managing Director of COMET Irom Umakanta said that the number of students who cleared NEET-UG this year is lower compared to previous years, primarily due to the ongoing crisis in Manipur.
He said that they will intensify examination-oriented teaching and introduce a series of tests modelled exactly on the NEET-UG pattern at COMET Coaching Centre to better prepare future aspirants.
He also said that COMET is extending special support to internally displaced students by providing them free education.
COMET has produced 2,059 medical students since 2004 with many now serving across the country and beyond, he said. The programme was also attended by Principal of Standard College, Kongba Dr Mairembam Suresh and Principal of COMET School Thoudam Debchandra among others.
