Works CE post vacant

IMPHAL, Nov 30 : Chief Engineer (Public Works Department) Ningombam Subhas has been relieved of his post. An official order to this effect was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on November 28.
According to reliable sources, the service extension of Subhas was due to expire in March 2026 and the reason behind his sudden removal remains unclear.
The post of Chief Engineer, PWD is now lying vacant.
