IDEAL, Indian Army win in DGAR Hockey Tournament

Day six of the Second Edition DGAR Hockey Tournament, organised by Assam Rifles delivered another compelling day of hockey at the Khuman Lampak Astro Turf Stadium.
The morning session began with a commanding display by IDEAL, who registered a thumping 8–0 victory over UYC. IDEAL’s precision, swift ball movement and coordinated attacks left spectators impressed and set a decisive tone for the day’s fixtures.
The second match, a high tempo women’s encounter, featured YCCIC against SYUC. YCCIC dominated the game with disciplined structure and continuous offensive pressure, securing a convincing 6–0 win.
The match showcased the competitive depth and growing calibre of women’s hockey in the tournament.
In the final match of the day, PHAM faced the Indian Army, a clash anticipated to be one of the key contests of the tournament’s mid-stage. Both teams showed strong form and drew significant interest from players and supporters alike. The match ended with the Indian Army winning the game by 10-0 goals.
