MP writes to AHPI

IMPHAL, Nov 3: Lok Sabha Member Dr Bimol Akoijam has appealed to the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI)- Manipur Chapter to continue cashless treatment under PMJAY and CMHT.
The MP wrote a letter to AHPI-Manipur Chapter pre- sident Dr Palin Khun-dongbam in this regard today.
While acknowledging the financial strain caused by pending reimbursements to private hospitals, the MP stressed that suspension of services will severely affect patients, particularly those requiring urgent and essential care.  
He informed that he has already taken up the matter with the Union Health Minister for expedited settlement of dues.
Dr Bimol Akoijam has appealed to hospitals to continue supporting patients during this critical time, while resolution is underway, as countless families depend on uninterrupted access to treatment, according to a press release issued by the MP’s office.
