AMSU condemns assault

IMPHAL, Nov 3: The All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) has strongly condemned the assault of Monsang Naga Students' Union leaders by unidentified miscreants on October 30 near Bijoypur on their way home to Japhou village in Chandel. In a press release issued by information and publicity secretary Serto Rengneier Kom, AMSU lauded the Manipur Police for the swift arrest and initiation of legal action against the perpetrators. 
It has also wished a speedy recovery to the injured Monsang student leaders.
Even as the State continues to fall behind in different aspects owing to the conflict, the All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU)  expressed hope for an end to such unfortunate incidents in the future.
