ASUFII FA beat AMOFA 3-1 for third win in 3rd Premier League

IMPHAL, Nov 5 : ASUFII FA remained unbeaten in 6 games and sealed their third win of the 3rd Premier League as they beat AMOFA 3-1 at SSC ground, Sekta this afternoon.
ASUFII FA who shared spoils with ABA in the previous game for the third time in the tournament, sealed the 3-1 win courtesy of a brace from Wangkheirakpam John today.
Woreithem Rainam was first to strike and earned ASUFII FA the lead in the 13th minute before W John scored back to back in the 21st and the 34th minutes to stretch the lead to 3-0.
Wahengbam Neckson scored the consolation goal for AMOFA, who were back from 3-1 win against IYFC, late in the 80th minute.
Later in the second match, Maibam Kishan scored in the 81st minute to hand MIUFC a 1-0 win over IYFC.
It was the fourth win for MIUFC in 7 games that included a draw.
