MUFA qualify for State Level U-15 Boys’ Football Tournament semis

IMPHAL, Nov 5 : MUFA played out a goalless draw with GFA to finish Group C league winners and qualify for the semi-finals of the ongoing State Level U-15 Boys’ Football Tournament held in honour of late Constable Deepak Chingakham, Vir Chakra.
MUFA, having won 2-1 against East Kangleipak in their group opener, went atop with the draw in the crucial match today and set up a semi-final date with Group A winners PANDAM FF who drubbed Khuman FA for the second straight win yesterday.
Meanwhile in a dead rubber Group D match, KIYC FA beat IMA by 3-2 goals today to finish group runners up behind NESU who had won two of two games.
Uwest Ali (32’), Raush (37’) and Riyas (40’) were on target in KIYC FA’s win as Kh Lanchenba (47’) and Ch Sanatomba (80+1’) added a goal apiece for IMA.

PANDAM FF vs MUFA from 12.15 pm; MEIRA FC vs NESU from 2:15 pm at Lamlong Thongkhong.
