IMPHAL, Nov 6: CI College thrashed Manipur College 7-3 in one of the matches of the Ayekpam Pratap Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College (Men) Football Tournament 2025 at DSA Kakching Ground today.
Earlier in the day, SEMCO Komlathabi beat Chandel United College 3-1, and Thambalmarik College beat Kumbi College 6-5 in a penalty shoot-out.
The clash between CI College and Manipur College saw the former dominating the entirety of the match.
O Amarjit opened the account for CI College in the match's 17th minute.
Md Rohit (24th minute), N Vikash (42), Romeshkumar (55), K Jebison (61), Md Eliyas (63) and Abhijit (65) scored one goal each.
For Manipur College, Th Rohidas scored a double in the match's 50th and 62nd minute, before Leishemba adding a third for the team in the 75th minute.
Thambalmarik College vs Kumbi College
Kh Hitler scored the first goal for Kumbi College in the 40+2 minute.
Thambalmarik College found the equalizer in Y Debit in the 47th minute.
In the penalty shootout, W Amekar, S Dharmanjoy, W Surjakanta and Kh Hitler scored but Ch Johnao couldn't convert his shot into a goal, giving Thambalmarik College an advantage.
All of the Thambalmarik shooters, S Jeeran, N Avinash, M Arvind, N Lanchenba and Devid found the net in the penalty shootout.
