IMPHAL, Nov 6: JCRE Global College's men and women teams won the titles of the Asem Arunkumar Memorial Manipur University Inter College Table Tennis Tournament 2025-26 today.
Women
JCRE Global College's women team beat Kha Manipur College 3-0 to win the women's team event.
For the JCRE Global College's win, H Senerita beat KMC's Tekcham Sanjita Chanu 3-0 (11-4, 11-1, 11-4).
JCRE's Binita Thiyam beat MKC's Thoidingjam Silky Chanu 3-0 (11-8, 13-11, 11-4).
JCRE's pair of H Yaiphabi and Mainam Deepa beat KMC's pair of Thoidingjam Silky Chanu and Tekcham Sanjita Chanu 3-0 (11-7, 11-7, 12-10).
In the match for the 3rd place, Manipur University beat Standard College 3-0.
For the win, MU's Manine beat Standard College's H Ichan Devi 3-0 (11-1, 11-2, 11-3).
Flora Golmei beat Yangambam Nelcy 3-0 (11-7, 11-8, 11-3).
MU's Manine and Wonyo beat the pair of H Ichan and Yangambam Nelcy 3-0 (11-1, 11-1, 11-4).
Men
In the men's team final, JCRE Global College beat Biramangol College 3-1.
JCRE's Thomas Elangbam beat Biramangol College's Ksh Nelson Singh 3-0 (12-10, 11-6, 11-7).
JCRE's K Rohit Singh beat Biramangol College's Shidarth Naorem 3-2 (13-11, 9-11, 5-11, 11-7, 11-5).
Biramangol College's pair of Ksh Nelson Singh and Shidarth Naorem beat JCRE's pair of K Rohit Singh and Thomas Elangbam 3-2 (7-11, 12-10, 11-6, 6-11, 13-11).
In the fourth match, JCRE's Thomas Elangbam beat Biramangol College's Shidarth  3-1 (11-7, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9).
In the match for the 3rd place, Thoubal College beat Imphal College 3-1.
Imphal College's Macdol Saikhom beat Thoubal College's Aribam Akash 3-1 (5-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-8).
Thoubal College's Wangjam Thoungamba beat Imphal College's Borish Laishram 3-0 (11-4, 11-5, 11-5).
Thoubal College's pair, Aribam Akash and Wangjam Thoungamba beat Imphal College pair Macdol Saikhom and Borish laishram 3-0 (11-8, 11-4, 11-5).
