Activist prays for Manipur in Patna

IMPHAL, Nov 7 : After reaching Bihar on November 2 on her bicycle journey, transgender social activist Malem Thongam today paid a visit to Bihar Legislative Assembly and offered prayers for peace in Manipur at Patna Jama Masjid.
She visited the Bihar Legislative Assembly located at Patna equipped with a placard championing peace in Bihar and Manipur and also interacted with the locals about the Manipur crisis.
Following this, she visited the Jama Masjid at New Market Patna Junction and offered prayers for the restoration of peace in the State. Upon hearing about her arrival, she was received by the Sachivalaya Police team. It is worth noting that Malem Thongam embarked on a bicycle journey on October 2 from Qutub Minar to Imphal under the theme of "Cycling for Manipur peace". Her peace campaign has completed 35 days today.
