CCSK stresses on unity

IMPHAL, Dec 1: Unity is the only way forward to safeguard Manipur's integrity, said Tijendra Ningomba, president, Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK).
He made this statement while speaking on the occasion of the 11th foundation day of the CCSK today.
Lamlai AC MLA Khong-bantabam Ibomcha, Wang- khei AC MLA Thangjam Arunkumar, and many other community leaders attended the foundation day, observed at the Citizen Club at Soibam Leikai Wangkhei Khunou.
At the event, Tijendra said the issues facing Manipur today will not be resolved if the people  and the stakeholders do not unite and walk on the same path.
Unity is the only way forward to resolve the issues and safeguard Manipur's integrity, he said.
About the Manipur Sangai Festival which concluded yesterday, Tijendra hinted it was designed to conceal the many issues that has plagued the State and its people.
"They claimed it was a festival to promote tourism, but it was a festival of the officers," Tijendra said.
MLA Thangjam Arunkumar and MLA Khongbantabam Ibomcha emphasised on the need for all to work as one to face any issues facing Manipur.
