KCC beat LCC by 32 runs for second win

IMPHAL, Nov 30 : KCC, Kongba cruised to their second win in 22nd Veteran Cricket Tournament Group C competition as they defended their total of 89 by bowling out LCC for 57 runs.
Asked to bat first, KCC had a disastrous start and were bundled out for 89 runs in 23 overs before Lenin enjoyed a fifer (5/18) to dismantle LCC for 57 runs within 18.3 overs with the assistance of Bonny (2/12 in 6 overs) and Robertson (1/12 in 5 overs).
Tomba 25 off 48 and Lamnganba 28 off 31 were the leading run getters for LCC in the first innings that saw Michael (3/19), Nandakumar (3/8) and Devid (2/22) of LCC sharing 8 crucial wickets.
Chasing 90 for the win, LCC were given a hard time and never looked comfortable with the bat as Lenin and Bonny combined well to disrupt their momentum.
None of the LCC batters were able to register a double digit score in the second innings as Shyamjai emerged the highest run getter on 8 off 30 balls.
