IMPHAL, Nov 30 : YGC, Langmeidong blanked SESU, Kakching by 6-0 goals to finish runners up in the 2nd Division Football League Tournament organised by DSA Kakching as SFC, Sora sealed the tournament title with 6 of 6 wins.
In the closing match of the 7-team tournament organised at DSA Kakching playground, Kingson (16’, 27’) and Bungningam (47’, 71’) scored two goals apiece while Pakajao (25’) and Meiteisana (34’) chipped in a goal apiece help YGC register fourth win in 6 matches.
Notably, SFC won 9-1 against MYC; 7-0 against SESU; 8-1 against PYC ; 10-2 against JA ; 2-0 against YGC and 3-0 against SSC to emerge on top of the table and earn qualification to the 1st Division League next season.
