Promoted to IFS

IMPHAL, Dec 11: Two Forest officers of Manipur namely; Laishram Biramangol Singh and Kharibam Hitler Singh, have been promoted to the Indian Forest Service (IFS).
The two officers are in the select lists approved by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on December 9 for promotion from State Forest Service of Manipur Cadre to the Indian Forest Service.
While Laishram Biramangol is currently serving as the Director of Manipur Zoological Garden, Kharibam Hitler is serving as the Divisional Forest Officer of Tamenglong.
