Winter Tennis Tournament Ribhaskar vs Yuridas in 35+ men’s singles title clash

IMPHAL, Dec 13 : Ribhaskar will face off against Yuridas in 35+ men’s singles title clash in the Winter Tennis Tournament 2025 being organised by IDTA and ASTPM at IDTA Complex, Lamphelpat.
Ribhasker eased past W Done 6-0, 6-0 in a semi-final clash staged this morning while Yuridas outlasted Ranbir 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 in the other semi-final clash.
Tuleshwor, Manikanta, and Korounganba in 45+ men’s singles semis
The day also saw Tuleshwor, Manikanta and Korounganba securing semi-final tickets in the 45+ men’s singles event with comprehensive victories against their respective rivals.
In a quarterfinal match, Tuleshwor won 6-0, 6-1 against M Pradip and set up a semi-final date with Manikanta, who got a first round bye and won 6-2, 6-0 against RK Sanjoy in a quarterfinal match today.
Korounganba meanwhile made it to the semi-finals with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Tarunkumar in a quarter final clash today.
35+ Doubles : Premjit and Domson in semis
The pair of Premjit and Domson, who got a first round bye, progressed into the semi-finals of the 35+ men’s doubles event as they powered 6-0, 6-1 past Arvind and Boleyn in a quarterfinal final today.
Earlier, Arvind and Boleyn outlasted W Done and RK Sanjoy 6-2, 6-1 to enter quarterfinals.
Umakanta and Momo also won 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) in a first round clash yesterday to set up a quarterfinal date with Ranbir and Jogen.
40+ Doubles : RK Pritam and Jagat in semis
The pair of RK Pritam and Jagat entered the semi-finals of the 40+ men’s doubles event. The pair earlier defeated Shantikumar and Tarunkumar 7-6 (5), 3-6, 12-10 in the round of 16 before getting a walkover win in the quarterfinal.
In other Round of 16 matches, A Prem and Chingkhei combined well to edge out Arvind and Boleyn 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 and set up a quarterfinal date with Aken and Korou while Motilal and S Ranjit thumped Balaram and Manjit 6-2, 6-0 to set up a quarterfinal date with Bona and Ch Pritam.
45+ Doubles : Ch Pritam-NK Meitei, Chaoba-Ramkumar ease into semis
In the 45+ Doubles event, Ch Pritam-NK Meitei pair got a first round bye (Round of 16) before defeating Khogen and Mohen 6-0, 6-1 in the quarterfinals to book a semi-final ticket.
The pair of Chaoba and Ramkumar on the other hand pulled off a 6-2, 6-2 win over Balaram and Manjit to set up a semi-final date with Ch Pritam and NK Meitei.
In a Round of 16 clash, Aldrin and A Prem won 6-3, 6-7 (5), 10-7 over Amarjeet and Arun to set up a quarterfinal date with Manikanta and Jayenta.
