Sangai FC, LFC reach Masters’ Football Championship semis

IMPHAL, Dec 13 : Sangai FC and LFC post contrasting wins to complete the semi-final line up of the ongoing 5th Dr Moirangthem Manaoton and Chandrasakhi Devi Memorial Masters’ Football Championship at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong today.
In the third quarterfinal match of the tournament, Sangai FC thrashed TRVSA by 5-1 goals thanks to goals from Golmei Patilung (4’), Th Lolen (25’), L Meghachandra (31’), Md Liyaqat (51’), and Th Subhas (54’).
Th Dilip (30+2’) scored the consolation goal for TRVSA before the lemon break.
Later in the last quarterfinal match, Langthabal FC beat VFC 1-0 courtsy of S David’s penalty kick in the 28th minute.
