Student bodies appeal

IMPHAL, Dec 17: Six student bodies namely; AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SUK and AIMS, have appealed to all concerned against sudden suspension of academic activities including normal classes and postponement of exams.
Abrupt suspension of classes and postponement of exams on December 17, 2025 caused serious disturbances in the minds of students, said a joint press release issued by the six student bodies.
It said that annual exams as well as pre-Board and pre-Council exams of BOSEM and COHSEM are going on at present.
Postponement of these exams and exams being conducted by Manipur University will be a big loss to the society and severe blow to the education sector, the six student bodies said.  
Highlighting the need to be far-sighted in order to secure a bright future for Manipur, the student bodies asserted that proper education is indispensable for the development and progress of the society.
“All of us will suffer when the education sector is disturbed and jeopardised”, said the joint press release.
It appealed to all concerned to refrain from putting off academic activities of schools, colleges and universities.
