Grenade planted

IMPHAL, Dec 2: A Chinese hand grenade was found at the residential gate of one Pangambam Nupajao  at Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai along with a warning note this morning.
Pangambam Nupajao is said to be a Deputy Commandant of SSB and he is currently posted in Bihar.
Some local people came across the hand grenade and the warning note and they immediately informed Thoubal Police.
The warning note read “KCP(PWG), Nupajao family, last warning.”
The hand grenade was later picked up safely from the spot by a team of Thoubal Police.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Thoubal police station for necessary investigation and action.
Sources said that Pangambam Nupajao and his family are currently staying in Bihar.
