Manipur settle for Team Pursuit bronze at Track Cycling Nationals

IMPHAL, Dec 19 : Manipur claimed a bronze medal in the Team Pursuit competition for junior men as the 77th Senior, 54th Junior and 40th Sub-Junior Track Cycling National Championships got underway at Shivalik Velodrome, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand today.
The State team comprising Ngangkham Dayananda, Khoirom Belchrish, Lairenmayum Rishi, and Longjam Aditya clocked 5:09.619 (5 minutes and 9.619 seconds) to secure the bronze medal in the junior men’s 4 km Team Pursuit event .
The Rajasthan team comprising Shiv Ratan, Ashok Jat, Sita Ram and Narayan Godara clinched the gold medal of the competition as Manish Nehra, Mayank, Rahul Malik and Vivek earned Haryana the silver medal.
