VSAI vs Sangai FC in Masters’ Football Championship final

IMPHAL, Dec 21 : VSAI will lock horns with Sangai FC in the title clash of the 5th Dr Moirangthem Manaoton and M Chandrasakhi Devi Masters’ Football Championship.
VSAI crushed FLAK, Kyamgei 3-0 on penalties in the first semi-final match of the tournament to enter the final in style this afternoon at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Kh Rajen Khanganba, M Bimolchandra and Kh Bonomali found the target for VSAI in the shoot-out after the two sides played out a goalless draw in the regulation time.
Later in the second semi-final match, Langthabal FC and Sangai FC were locked at 1-1 till the end of regulation time before Sangai FC emerged 5-4 winners in the shoot-out to seal the game 6-5. Langthabal FC found the lead early in the 7th minute before Sangai FC equalised in the 11th minute through Y Sanayaima.
