69th NSG Sepaktakraw U-17 boys and girls reign supreme as U-19 boys finish runners up

IMPHAL, Dec 22 : U-17 boys and girls were crowned champions in the 69th National School Games Sepaktakraw 2025 hosted by Rajasthan in Jodhpur as U-19 boys finished runners up.
The State U-17 girls clinched the top honour by defeating Andhra Pradesh 17-15, 15-5 in the final while the U-17 boys defeated Bihar 15-12, 15-10 to emerge on top.
The U-17 girls earned their final ticket with a 15-12, 15-8 win over hosts Rajasthan after defeating Maharashtra 15-8, 15-11 in the quarterfinals.
The boys meanwhile reached the final with a 15-12, 15-10 semi-final win over Uttar Pradesh after defeating hosts Rajasthan 15-4, 15-6 in the quarterfinals.
U-19 boys however faltered and lost 8-15, 15-7, 12-15 to Bihar in the final to settle for the runners up title.
They reached the final with a 15-7, 15-6 semi-final win over Odisha after beating Uttar Pradesh 15-9, 15-13 in the quarterfinals.
Notably the U-19 girls team ended their campaign without any medal as they lost 17-15, 8-15, 7-15 to Maharashtra in the semi-final and an 8-15, 7-15 loss to Andhra Pradesh in the Hard Line match (third place).
