EMVFC, VSAI register second wins in Masters’ Football C’ship

IMPHAL, Dec 2 : EMVFC, Lamlai and VSAI, Thangmeiband sealed their second wins in the 5th Dr Moirangthem Manaoton and M Chandrasakhi Devi Masters’ Football Championship and went atop Group C and Group A tables respectively.
In a Group C match staged this afternoon at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong, EMVFC beat UVSA, Chajing by a slender 1-0 margin for their second win in three matches and to cap the league campaign unbeaten.
Later in a Group A match, W Khogen scored one (15’) and Kh Rajen Khanganba scored a brace (41’, 49’) to earn VSAI a 3-1 win over TRVSA, Malom.
The consolation goal for TRVSA was scored by H Premkumar during the stoppage time (60+2’).
