SSU beat ABA 1-0 to solidify position on top

IMPHAL, Dec 2 : Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Singjamei beat ABA, Kshetrigao 1-0 in the top of the table clash of the 3rd Premier League to further extend their winning run to 9 games in 11 matches and cemented their position on top.
The lone goal that earned SSU all three points was scored by Usham Robert in the 67th minute after the two sides started cautiously.
With the win, SSU maintained an 8-point lead against second place ABA who have won 6 matches and drew twice in 10 matches.
Later in the day, RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai and YPHU, Lalambung Makhong shared a point apiece after a goalless draw.
