YWC post 4 wicket win in Veteran Cricket

IMPHAL, Dec 2 : YWC, Langthabal posted a 4-wicket win over REYS, Nagamapal in a Group C match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.
YWC opted to bat first and restricted REYS to 95/9 in the allotted 30 overs before cruising to 99/6 in 23.5 overs with 4 wickets left in the hand.
Samananda (3/13), Tejkumar (2/14), and Kumarjit (2/17) shone with the ball for YWC in the first innings as Superjit 15, Bonny 14, Boynao 12 not out emerged leading scorers for REYS. Kumarjit 27, Prakashmani 16 and Ashokumar 11 not out then took YWC to winning 99 in the second innings that saw Iboyaima (2/16) and Nonodren (2/16) sharing four wickets for REYS.
Samananda of YWC was adjudged man of the match.
