JNNC condoles

IMPHAL, Dec 3 : Jiri News Network Committee (JNNC) has conveyed heartfelt condolences upon the demise of senior journalist Meinam Joymangol, popularly known as "Jombi", on November 26.
According to a press release issued by S Nilima Chanu, general secretary, JNNC, Joymangol was associated with various publications in Jiribam during his lifetime including Tengtha, Eastern Post and Jila Darbar.
Notably, he also served as the Editor of Jiri News Network in the past.
Born to Late Meinam Lalit Singh, he was originally from Kalinagar but resided in Babupara, Jiribam.
JNNC has termed his death as a great loss to the media fraternity and Jiribam in general.
It has offered prayers for the deceased soul to rest in peace and extended solidarity to the bereaved family.
