Man remanded

IMPHAL, Dec 29: A 23-year-old man identified as Moirangthem Naoba has been remanded to police custody till December 30 for allegedly stealing a Laptop from a house at Langthabal Lep Makha Leikai on December 25.
Moirangthem Naoba alias William of Wangoo Makha Leikai was produced before the Duty Magistrate Imphal West.
Police said the accused was caught red handed stealing the laptop by residents.
From his disclosure, the police have also recovered two stolen Active mopeds.
The Duty Magistrate granted the police request for remand till December 30 for smooth investigation of the case.
