Rindamkhu SC, Khonjon YC, Chandel Police FC enter quarters

IMPHAL, Dec 3 : Rindamkhu SC, Khonjon YC, and Chandel Police FC have fought their way to the quarterfinals  of the ongoing Kargil Brave Hearts Memorial Football Tournament organised by 21 Bn AR in association with Modi SC and DSA Chandel at Sports Complex Chandel.
In the 6th pre-quarterfinal match of the tournament, Riindamkhu SC rode on goals from Tlingsheng (37’) and Rengshing (50’) to seal a 2-1 comeback win against Tonsen FC whose Warpa found the opener in the 10th minute.
Later in the second match of the day, Khonjon YC knocked out Purum Tampak SC by 5-1 goals courtesy of Ng Bedeenpar (20’, 34’, 60’, 65’) and R Kophadeen (62’). Malreng (43’) scored the consolation goal for Purum Tampak SC.
Meanwhile, in the last pre-quarterfinal match of the tournament, Languilang (4’) and Ragaisin (90+3’) scored to earn Chandel Police FC a 2-1 win over Liwa Khullen YC whose Kowarngam scored in the 29th minute.
