Promoted to IPS

IMPHAL, Dec 4: Six Manipur police officers have been promoted to the rank of Indian Police Service (IPS).
The officers are Bembem Nongthombam, Priyadar-shini Laishram, Mohemed Jackiruddin, Rajkumar Man-bindu Singh, Sarangthem Asana, and Dr Sarangthem Ibomcha Singh.
An official order to this effect was issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
