FESOK urges

IMPHAL, Dec 4: The Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) has urged the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) to ensure Class I to Class X students receive their academic textbooks before the 2026 academic session begins.
In a statement issued by its secretary for education and library Soibam Davit, FESOK claimed that the issue of delayed textbook distribution has become a recurring issue, and called on BOSEM to take responsibility and address the problem.
The Federation also demanded that the textbooks be printed on high-quality paper and ensure there are no spelling errors in Manipuri subject textbooks written in Meitei Mayek.
FESOK cautioned that BOSEM must take responsibility for any consequences if the textbooks are not provided to students on time.
