Stage set for Kargil Brave Hearts Memorial Football tourney semis

IMPHAL, Dec 5 : The semi-final line up of the Kargil Brave Hearts Memorial Football Tournament 2025 jointly organised by the 21 Assam Rifles and DSA Chandel with support from All Ex-Servicemen of Chandel at Sports Complex, Chandel was completed today with Heibunglok YC and Damjol YC securing quarterfinal victories.
In the third quarterfinal match of the tournament, Rengsingam (15’, 35+1’) scored a brace to earn Heibunglok YC a 2-0 win over Khongjon YC. With the win, Heibunglok YC set up a semi-final date with Hnahringkhu YC tomorrow.
Later, goals from Lenen (9’) and Paulin (21’) and an own goal from Rengminyar (10’) of Chandel Police FC sealed the 3-1 win for Damjol YC. Angpol scored the consolation goal for Chandel Police FC in the 25th minute.
With the win, Damjol YC set up a semi-final date with Chandel Christian YC.
