REYS beat KCC by 3 wickets in Veteran Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Dec 7 : REYS, Nagamapal pulled off a 3-wicket win over KCC, Kongba in a Group C match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2025-26 at Langthabal Public Ground.
KCC amassed 147/9 in the allotted 30 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first but KCC fought their way to the target with 3 wickets and 2 balls left to spare.
Robertson 40 off 47, Bonny 26 off 27, Sanjoy 23 off 20, Devkanta 17, and Lenin 13 were the leading run getters for KCC in the first innings that saw Nongdren (4/18) and Superjit (2/20) sharing 6 crucial wickets for REYS.
Nongdren then scored an unbeaten 21 off 40 to guide REYS to the victory after Jitender 42 off 33, Kenny 30 off 40 and Bonny 19 set up the momentum.
Bonny (2/30), Lenin (1/16), Sonjoy (1/36), Chumathao (1/30), and Robertson (1/38) were among the wickets for KCC in the second innings.
Nongdren who shone with both the bat and ball was adjudged man of the match.
