AMPLA announces team for 34th Bench Press Nationals

IMPHAL, Dec 7 :The All Manipur Powerlifting Association (AMPLA) has announced the names of the athletes shortlisted to represent Manipur at the 34th National Equipped and Classic Bench Press Championship 2025 due to be held from January 7 to 11, 2026.
The athletes who were shortlisted in the State team are as follows.
Sub-Junior Boys : Takhellambam Linaldo (53 kg), Laishram Yuvaraj (59 kg), Takhellambam Ribroson (66 kg), Konthoujam Lanchenba (74 kg).
Junior Boys : Elangbam Irikhomba (59 kg), Thingujam Janan (59 kg).
Senior Men : Hijam Sunil (59 kg).
Sub-Junior Girls : Waikhom Ranisana (43 kg), Keisham Arika (76 kg).
Junior Girls : Kayenpaibam Velena (43 kg), Kh Luwangambi (52 kg), Maibam Gulubi (63 kg), Brahmacharimayum Nimi (69 kg), W Benita (76 kg), and Ningthoujam Bidyarani.
Senior Women : Yumkhaibam Fajilatun (69 kg), Thangjam Leima (76 kg), Konsam Rosida (+84 kg), and Ch Hemingta (+84 kg).
Naorem Sushila and Konsam Rosida were also named as the team manager and coach respectively.
