USA edge RAHEE UC 2-1 in 18th MSL opener

IMPHAL, Dec 7 : USA, Khurai edged past RAHEE UC 2-1 in the opening match (Group A) of the 18th Manipur State League organised by the All Manipur Football Association at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Thoudam Pravash shone with a double (40’, 62’) for USA in the match as Puiringshang Khodang scored the only goal for RAHEE UC at the stroke of the hour mark.
As many as 24 teams clustered into three groups are taking part in the tournament.
Ahead of its opening fixture, Thongju AC MLA Thongam Biswajit today officially distributed new jerseys to Eleven Star Sporting Union at its Akampat office today.
