NMFA, NEROCA FC post contrasting wins in 18th Manipur State League

IMPHAL, Dec 8 : NMFA and NEROCA registered contrasting wins in today’s matches of the ongoing 18th Manipur State League at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong today.
In the first match of the day and tourney’s 2nd, NMFA notched up a 7-2 win over SDC courtesy of a haul from Moirangthem Ronik (32’, 33’, 77’, 88’) to open their Group B campaign on a bright note.
Salam Dhiren also shone with a double (6’ PK, 50’) for the team while Irengbam Indrajit added one (30’).
For SDC, Longjam Sheitam (12’) and Athokpam Aimson (90+4’ PK) were on target in the match.
Later in the day, NEROCA FC opened the Group C campaign with a 1-0 win over Elite FA thanks to Wahengbam Abinash’s opening minute goal.
