Survey held

IMPHAL, Dec 8 : The Directorate of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services has conducted surveillance as control and containment measures for African Swine Fever (ASF) in Kakching and Imphal East district.
From November 29 to December 5, a survey was conducted across Kakching and Imphal East district covering a total of 768 households and 1,300 pigs, said ASF Control Room in its weekly report.
In Kakching district, the survey covered 400 households and 502 pigs.
In Imphal East district, the survey covered 368 households and 798 pigs.
The ASF Control Room, however, didn't mention if any suspected/cases of ASF were detected during the survey.
